چکیده

Ultrafine phase change nanofibers based on polyethylene glycol 1000 (PEG1000) as material (PCM) and polyamide 6 (PA6) a supporting were prepared in systematic manner planned by the Design-Expert® software using uniaxial electros-pinning. Research surface methodology (RSM) was carried out to optimize parameters conditions leading minimize fiber diameter. The effect of PEG content, applied voltage, needle gauge, flow rate characteristics studied central composite design (CCD). minimum diameter predicted quadratic model be 64.33 nm actual fibers under optimal condition showed very low relative standard error (RSE). It shown that PEG/PA6 mass ratio has dominant results from FTIR FE-SEM images confirmed well encapsulated PA6 no leakage morphology alterations observed after heating tests. To further investigate morphological structure quality PEG1000 encapsulation matrices, underwent solvent treatment ethanol. proposed new innovative method control operational electrospinning for encapsulating materials polymer matrices which is important thermal energy saving/retrieving applications.

A Numerical Investigation of Heat Transfer in Phase Change Materials ( PCMs ) Embedded in Porous Metals

The effects of metal foams on heat transfer enhancement in Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are investigated. The numerical investigation is based on the two-equation non-equilibrium heat transfer model, in which the coupled heat conduction and natural convection are considered at phase transition and liquid zones. The numerical results are validated by experimental data. The main findings of the ...

Numerical Investigations of Heat Transfer in Phase Change Materials (pcms) Using Non-thermal Equilibrium Model

Phase change materials (PCMs) are drawing increasing attention of researchers nowadays, and they play a pivotal role in thermal energy storage (TES) used in renewable energy resources applications, since these renewable energy, such as solar energy, wind energy and tidal energy, are intermittent and not available at any time. However, most of PCMs suffer from low thermal conductivities prolongi...
